To expand the OMFD project (Original Music for Dementia), we are testing the effects of original relaxing music designed for individuals with dementia on healthy individuals. Sandra, an activity coordinator at a renowned Italian care home for people with dementia, was the first to undergo testing. The goal was to evaluate the music's impact on the brain using an ECG and other physiological parameters such as blood oxygenation, blood pressure, and body temperature.

“You Are Not Alone" is the first song created for people affected by dementia. It was designed based on parameters that science has found to be beneficial for patients. A recording studio version of the song will be released in September. You can already listen to the live version performed in Brussels at an international conference on dementia and music in June 2024.
